The BEST foods to eat for fat loss?

We all get drawn in by these attention grabbing headlines on social media and magazine covers – the internet is full of them!
See, the headline gets you curious, promising a magic cure, instant results, the answer you’ve been looking for, but unfortunately in reality there aren’t any specific foods that you can eat to speed up fat loss.
Apart from having it surgically removed, the ONLY proven way to lose fat is to create a calorie deficit. That’s eating less calories than you actually need or burning them off through exercise.
 
No matter how many “super foods”, berries, celery, kale, turkey, low calorie drinks/bars, special teas or supplements you consume, if you’re not creating a calorie deficit you won’t lose fat. Simple. You might lose some water or fibre overnight on some fad diets/supplements but it almost certainly won’t be fat loss.
 
So, the next time you see one of those articles listing the top 10 best foods/supplements to buy for fat or a new weightless supplement – keep on scrolling, don’t give them the time of day and definitely don’t waste your money on them.
