Prior to joining RM Fitness, I had been involved in health and fitness one way or another all my life, but having 2 children in quick succession, I spent 3 years focussing purely on taking care of my family and in the process had completely forgotten about myself.
My confidence was at an all-time low and I felt like I’d lost ‘me’. It was after seeing photographs of myself on a girls weekend away that I decided to do something about it, but I needed somebody or something to help me focus. After checking out several gyms and meeting the trainers, I knew immediately that it had to be RM!
The coaches were knowledgeable, passionate, approachable and, perhaps more importantly, interested in ‘you’. The group sessions had a great atmosphere and everyone was so friendly – whichever class you showed up at, there were always at least a couple of familiar faces. It was encouraging to hear so many success stories.
Since joining RM I have seen amazing results, including 5″ loss from my waist and almost 2 stone in weight loss. I am fitter and stronger than I have ever been and have particularly enjoyed having new people I meet ask “do you train?”. I am probably more body confident now as a 36-year-old mum of 2 than I was as a 20-year-old!
