Case Study # 4…Emma (Full Journey)

“My RMF journey began in April 2013. RMF had developed a fantastic reputation for body transformation and it had been recommended to me by various people. However I was not looking for a gym to give me quick short term results in the form of an 8/12 week challenge, I never wanted to be at a point where I felt I was depriving myself of anything as I knew this wouldn’t last, for me it was about having the chocolate and wine but in moderation. I was always seeking a place where I could train year round with support, coaching, lifestyle and nutrition advice that was realistic in order for me to obtain long term sustainable results which is exactly what I have found at RMF and signing up is probably the best decision I have ever made. 

The above picture shows Emma’s changes in the first 4 weeks of having PT sessions…bearing in mind by this point she’d already seen awesome results…this is what we call going from good to great.

I have never been massively overweight, I had become increasingly deconditioned and unhappy with the way I looked after having my children. It has never been about the numbers on the scales for me, over the last 18 months I have probably only dropped 1 stone in weight however my body composition and body shape have changed massively which for me is more important than seeing the numbers on the scales coming down. 

 I am a busy working mum of three young children currently at university studying a nursing degree. I could come up with every excuse under the sun as to why I can’t train, don’t have the time to eat right etc however one of the main reasons for my fitness success is that the programme provides me with a clear focused path to where I want to get to, and how I am going to get there.

In addition, at the forefront of my mind I always remember ‘my why’ the deep rooted reasons why I do train eat right etc and what I want to achieve both in the short and long term. I can’t pretend its all been a hard slog either RMF has an amazing buzz and I have made some lifelong friends who have supported and encouraged me all the way too. This is a journey that for me currently does not have an end point as there is always something I am striving towards be it body composition wise or a strength type target and for me that makes the next 18 months very exciting! With the support of RMF I now know if I set my mind to something anything is possible.”[/one_half_last]
